About The Creator:

Hi there!
My name is Ashley Miller and I am the creator of Plant Centered. Although I can't call myself vegan, I have been transforming my health - both mental and phsyical - with a diet centered around plants. Along the way, I've collected so many resources that have not only helped me learn but also provided tools to put that knowledge into practice. This website serves as a collection of those resources, as well as a blog where I share my own thoughts and ideas around nutrition and wellness. I hope you enjoy!

Credentials:
I am certified in Plant Based Nutrition through eCornell in partnership with the T Collin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
I am a Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
I graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 2017 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Dietetics and Health Promotion.​


Mission Statement:
Plant Centered's mission is to provide easily accessible information, resources, and support to individuals seeking to improve the health and well being of themselves and/or others through plant based nutrition.
Vision:
Knowledge - Education is essential to success when it comes to nutrition. Everyone should have at least a basic knowledge of the way food interacts with their body on a daily basis. Nutrition is a rapidly growing field, and staying up to date can be difficult. Plant Centered wants to make that easier by providing an all-in-one resource.
Empowerment - You have the power to change the course of your life with every bite you take, and Plant Centered wants to make it practical by giving you the tools to do so.
Collaboration - Each individual has something unique to offer, and by listening to and sharing our own stories with others, we learn and grow more than we ever could on our own.
